Story:-

Satyadev(Ajith) is a powerful cop who fears no one. One fine day, a dreaded gangster named Victor(Arun Vijay) suddenly attacks Satyadev’s friend Chandramukhi(Anushka). Things get ugly and Chandramukhi is given heavy police protection.
Victor tries hard to kill Chandramukhi but fails every time. This is also the time that Chandramukhi comes to know that Victor is an old enemy of Satydev and shares a personal vendetta with him and his wife Hemanika(Trisha).
Who is this Victor ? What doe he have to do with Satyadev and his family ? Will Satyadev manage to save Chandramukhi ? To know answers to all these questions, you need to watch the film on the big screen.

Plus Points:-

Major asset of the film is the gripping screenplay. The entire credit should go to director Gautam Menon for showcasing such a simple story in an engaging way. Ajith gives a top notch performance as Satyadev. All his confrontation scenes with Arun Vijay are superb and raise the tempo of the film.
Arun Vijay is supreme in his negative role, and gives his career best performance. The way he confronts a powerful actor like Ajith speaks volumes of his acting. Anushka suits perfectly in her role. The pre-climax and all the chasing scenes have been designed well.
The bond that is showcased between Ajith and his daughter is showcased well. Chemistry between Ajith and Trisha is crackling and their romantic track has wonderful moments.

Minus Points:-

The film has its dull moments. After an engaging start, the film gets emotional and bogs down a bit. Pace of the film drops and screenplay gets a bit predictable. Anushka’s track lacks clarity and could have been handled well.
Yentavadu Gaani is two faced and shifts tracks all off a sudden. What starts off as an revenge drama turns highly emotional. The film gets quite serious after a while and all those who seek regular entertainment might be disappointed.
Length of the film is a tad too long as the director goes into way too many unnecessary details and episodes. There are certain logics which go missing in the film.
